Since I know you share a sincere interest in doing the most to support our children within our community, I would like to let you know about an effort I am involved with that positively impact children’s mental health & well-being.
Park Nicollet Foundation provides funding at no cost to the family programs that work directly with students to increase understanding to build resilience in our youth, schools, and communities.
The Growing Through Grief program offers grief counseling to young people coping with loss. And No Obstacles to Well-Being (NOW!) provides children and adolescents with accessible, in-school mental health services.
The Foundation is in the midst of a $5 million campaign for Children’s Mental Health and Well-being focused on expanding school-based programs, including counseling services and grief programs, to more kids in need.
